Caring for your decorative trays
Our stone like trays are made using a combination of a reactive mineral base and a pure water based resin called jesmonite, a unique composite material known for its strength and design flexibility. Taking care of Jesmonite trays is relatively simple, and with proper maintenance, they can retain their beauty and durability for a long time. Here are some tips on how to care for your Jesmonite trays:
Regular Cleaning: Wipe the tray clean with a damp, soft cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch or damage the surface. DO NOT put in the dishwasher.
Avoid Stains: Our trays are sealed using a solvent free sealer to ensure that they are stain resistant . Please Keep in mind that Jesmonite is a porous material , so over time it can stain easily. Be cautious with liquids like red wine, coffee, and oils. If a spill occurs, clean it up promptly to prevent staining.
Store Properly: If you have multiple trays or items stacked on top of one another, use soft padding or cloth to prevent scratching.
